This illustration is the cover of the current issue of the Dallas Observer. It’s a bit crazy, and depicts Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones riding the Vince Lombardi trophy (à la Dr. Strangelove) down to Cowboys Stadium where this year’s Super Bowl will take place.
The idea behind this, suggested by the art director, was to show the madness of the Super Bowl with Jerry Jones expressing maniacal excitement about it all, embracing the insanity. The headline is something along the lines of: The Unofficial Guide to Dallas Stuff or How We Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Super Bowl.
Enjoy the game!
